Who We Are

Massage Therapists

Hollee Schneider, Licensed Massage Therapist

Hollee is a graduate of Trenton State College and received her therapeutic massage trainng through Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy.  She specializes in the benefits of deep tissue massage, pain management, and injury rehabilitation.

In addition to her work with the adult population, Hollee is certified in Pediatric Massage.  She utilizes her knowledge of kinesthetics and pediatric (Early Childhood)/adolescent development to work with this young population in order to increase focus, increase calm response, reduce pain from athletics, and balance the rigorous demands of an academic and sports schedule with time for self awareness.

Hollee also works as an Infant Massage Instructor.  This wonderful focus is an ancient tradition that has been shown to further develop the bond between parent and child while helping to alleviate the pain of  many common infant stressors such as colic, intestinal pain, gassiness, failure to thrive, eating issues, etc.

Chrisoula Marangoudakis, Licensed Massage Therapist

Chrisoula is a graduate of Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy and holds a BS in veterinary studies.  She specilizes in the benefits of myofascial release and injury rehabilitation.  Her session approach blends passive and active stretching with the more complex aspects of fascial manipulation to reduce pain and aid the rehabilitation process.

Chrisoula is also an avid participant in her practice of meditation and yoga.  She incorporates her knowledge of restorative breath into her therapeutic massage sessions in order to enhance the relaxation and healing process.

Yoga with Rachel Little

I began my personal yoga practice 8 years ago at Braveheart Yoga, East Granby.  After a few sessions, I  began to notice a marked relief from the chronic back pain I had suffered through most of my life.  Within a short time, I decided to become an instructor in order to share this transformative practice with others. I completed my intial training in the therapeutic applications of yoga, through Sacred Rivers Yoga for Everybody in Glastonbury, CT.  Here I focused on Yoga Levels 1 & 2 and specialized in Prenatal Yoga and Yoga for the Senior Practitioner.  Currently, I am continuing my training with Sacred Rivers and Paula Scopino for my 500 hour certification.  This will allow me to continue to bring the deep history of yoga into my practice, and that of my students, while exploring the philosophy and deeper applications yoga has to everyday life.

I teach a heart - centered flow style that links breath to movement with moments of quiet pause throughout the practice.  My knowledge of anatomy and principles of postural alignment allow me to make this practice accessible to a wide range of individual abilities. With this knowledge, I am able to challenge those who are looking to sculpt the body and fine tune the mind while supporting those who are new to their practice or recovering from injury or experiencing pain.

Matthew E. Myers, LMT

Having spent the first portion of his life in electrical construction, Matt brings his personal experiece with chronic pain to his client interactions.  Never having been an individual to seek out a "pill for pain", Matt has explored various natural remedies for himself and, now, his clients.  He uses his own experiences and successes to help build a balanced wellness program for each individual that crosses his path.  As a recent graduate of Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, Matt utilizes stretching, deep tissue massage, acupressure, and trigger point therapy in his work.
